Well . . . we finally know what picture phones really look like. At least one version. Picture phones look kinda like iChat videoconferencing (it's a Macintosh thing). One of the coolest moments . . . most 2004 moments . . . of the &Now Festival at Notre Dame last week was being invited to wave over the shoulder of Scott Rettberg as he used his laptop to say hi to Jill Walker and her laptop on her sunny back porch in Norway. Her smile was delightful. Now I see that both Jill (here) and Scott (here) have blogged about Peripatetic Spring Video Chatting.
