x-ray time-morph vision
So . . . a strangeandinteresting thing is happeningtome these days. In a meeting, looking aroundthetable, I suddenly starttosee . . . in the bodylanguage and tinyfacialexpressions of these 'serious adults' . . . clear snap shots of what they were like as kids! A poutyturn of thehead, a wistfulsigh of boredom, an awkwardsquirm, or a too-eager bounce forward onthe chair . . . and, like a HollywoodSpecialEffects morph program, I see the child they were,
stillthere in their bodymindlanguage. Yesterday Isaw exactly how thispowerful executive usedto twistaway from thedinnertable as a sullenprotest
and Isaw exactlyhow this powerfulexecutive usedto gokickthewall out of mutefrustration
as she kickedachair outof theway assheleft the meeting. It'slike having x-rayvision or something. It's weird, it'scool. Sometimes its "toomuchinformation." LOL
